Which personal data pass through this website, who receives them, why, and what rights you have. Bookings made by phone or in person do not go through here.

When you visit the website
The website does not ask you to sign up, has no contact forms of its own and uses no advertising tools.
Like any website, though, it runs on a server that records some technical data about each visit: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. These are needed to run the website and protect it from abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are kept by the hosting provider on behalf of the controller and are deleted periodically.
Statistics: Google Analytics
If you accept it in the banner, the website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Analytics sets the cookies _ga, _ga_HMXP04GKJJ, which last up to two years and are used to recognise the browser from one visit to the next; Google receives browsing data and the IP address, which Analytics 4 does not store. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited; some data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): without it, Analytics does not load at all. Your choice lasts six months, then we ask again. You can change it whenever you like from “Cookie preferences”, also at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw your consent, the Analytics cookies are deleted.
Online bookings
The “Book” button opens the Guestplan booking form, a service of eTender BV (Keizersgracht 188, Amsterdam, the Netherlands). The form is downloaded from Guestplan’s servers only when you approach the button: before that, the website does not connect to Guestplan.
The data you enter (name, contact details, number of guests, date, time and any notes) are used to record and manage your booking. Guestplan stores them in the Netherlands and processes them on behalf of the controller; the legal basis is your booking request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). They are kept for as long as needed to manage the booking and to meet legal obligations. Without these data you cannot book online: you can always book by phone.
If you also choose, in the form, to receive communications from the restaurant, that is a separate, optional choice that you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The Google map
On the contact page the map does not load by itself: until you press “Show the map”, the website does not connect to Google. If you open it, Google receives your IP address and browser data and may use its own cookies, according to its privacy policy. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited; some data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Social media, email and phone
The links to the restaurant’s social media profiles are plain links: until you open them, those services receive nothing from this website.
If you write to or call the restaurant, your data are used only to reply to you.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see your data, correct them, delete them, restrict their use, receive them in a readable format or object to their processing (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). Just send an email to the controller’s address.
If you believe your data are being handled incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). garanteprivacy.it
